This 26 foot statue of Marilyn Monroe debuted last July in downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave.  The statue was created by Seward Johnson.  I'm still not sure why it's in Chicago, but whatever.

Self

I felt inspired by the painted lips of geishas.  I have a minor obsession with Memoirs of a Geisha, the novel and the movie, and think the film has some of the best visuals in terms of costume, makeup, and setting that I've ever seen.

Ed's style is impeccable and the distressed denim jacket is perfect for transitioning from the warmer to cooler weather.  The background for this photo shoot are murals created by local students.

The Circus

I love the circus! I have a phobia of clowns, but luckily the amazing performances of the trapeze artists, elephants, and pink poodles overshadowed the creepiness of the clowns.

Europe

The first two photos were taken in Scotland while my mother and I visited my sister at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe.  The last two photos are, surprise, of different angles of the Eiffel Tower.

Chicago In the Spring
